Stakeholder’s Forum on SDP to be held in Malaysia this May 2017nnOne of FAPA’s Targets is the implementation of the Separation of Dispensing and Prescribing Practices (SDP) among Member Associations from different Asian countries. This is a step towards enhancing pharmaceutical care services by ensuring better collaboration among members of the health care team to promote patient safety and better health outcomes.nnThis coming May 12 – 13, 2017, FAPA will solidify its commitment by hosting a Stakeholders’ Forum on SDP at the Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur City Centre in Malaysia together with the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society (MPS) that is also celebrating their 50th anniversary. Presidents and Representatives from Member Associations, consumer groups, other health professions organizations and Ministries of Health are expected to join this very important forum for the Pharmacy Profession in Asia. Speakers will come from Countries where the SDP movement has been successful, namely Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
