           DR OLIVIA M. LIMUACO IS THE DEAN OF SCHOOL OF PHARMACY, CENTRO ESCOLAR UNIVERSITY FOR 22 YEARS (1991-2013). SHE IS A FACULTY MEMBER OF THE SCHOOL OF PHARMACY (1977-TO THE PRESENT). SHE INITIATED THE OFFERING OF LADDERIZED PHARMACY PROGRAM (4YR BSP, 5 YR BSP IN Clinical Pharmacy AND 6 YR Doctor of Pharmacy Program) IN 2008 AND THE FIRST TWO YEAR POST BACCAULAUREATE DEGREE LEADING TO  DOCTOR OF PHARMACY IN THE PHILIPPINES IN 2005. SHE IS CURRENTLY THE VICE PRESIDENT OF CENTRO ESCOLAR UNIVERSITY AND DEAN OF STUDIES, MAKATI CAMPUS.nnSHE WAS PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES OF PHARMACY (PACOP) TWICE. SHE WAS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE ASIAN ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOLS OF PHARMACY (AASP).  SHE IS A MEMBER OF THE INTERNATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL FEDERATION (FIP).nnSHE HOLDS DIFFERENT POSITION AT PPHA SINCE 1989 UNTIL SHE BECAME THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINE PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION FROM 2014-2016. DRAFTED THE PPHA CODE OF ETHICS WHICH WAS APPROVED BY THE PPHA AND RECOMMENDED THE CHANGE OF THE PHILIPPINE PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATION NAME INTO PHILIPPINE PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION.nnSHE SERVED AS THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION OF ASIAN PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATIONS (FAPA) FOR 23 YEARS (1991-2014) AND NOW, ONE OF ITS VICE PRESIDENT FROM 2014 TO 2018. FOR 23 YEARS, SHE SERVED AS THE LINK THAT ENSURES THE CONTINUITY OF THE FAPA OPERATIONS FROM 1964 TO THE PRESENT.

n nn[FAPA Bureau Write-Up Series]:nSince FAPA’s expending its exposure and influence in Asia, we need our Bureau members to be outstanding and advocate for what they really would like to make FAPA different and bring people to be more aware of us as an international leading organization in pharmacy.  In these serveries, we’ve kindly request our Bureau Members (including President, Vice Presidents, and the Secretary General) to provide 100~200 write-up and also a short film (<3minutes) to introduce their efforts which have been done or plan to be done for us in FAPA; and it is always good to hear of their vision and planning for the development of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science, for us in Asia and the world.nnn
