Cambodia – Pharmacist Association of Cambodia (PAC)_1

The Pharmacist Association of Cambodia (PAC) is the national association for Pharmacist; was founded on 1996 which official collaborated with many healthcare sectors under the patronage of Ministry of Health in Cambodia. PAC is recognized and successively licensed by Ministry of Interior.

PAC helps pharmacist:

All together to build solidarity and fraternity in professional conscience.
Protect the rights, and promoting the well being of all members and providing opportunities for continuing efforts to strengthen and develop core professional capacities in health professional.
Contributing promote properly applied in the pharmaceutical business.
To empower the pharmacist to be professionally competent and global competitive for quality health care.
Continually improve their professional knowledge and skills in undertake an enhanced role in the delivery of health care services.

Every two years, Pharmacist Association of Cambodia, and Medicine Association of Cambodia, launched workshops for update and share experience of scientific activities on pharmaceutical and medicine fields.

PAC have been established relationships with local and international partners and linkages with various government and non government agencies such as Cambodia Pharmacy Council, Cambodia Physician Council, Faculty of Pharmacy; international organization such as FIP, WPPF, WHO to develop standards for Pharmacy services under the heading “Good pharmacy practice in community and hospital pharmacy setting”

[FAPA Member Associations Write-Up Series]:
Since FAPA’s expending its exposure and influence in Asia, we also would like to urge our Member Associations to be aware by the region colleagues, especially in pharmacy. In these serveries, we’ve kindly request the current 18 ordinary members of FAPA to provide 100~200 write-up and also a short film (<3minutes) to introduce us again the organization, its efforts in developing pharmacy profession, and also its expectation to FAPA, to work with FAPA to this global healthcare system.
